Airbnb Horror Story: An NYU Stonestreet Studios Short Film

Airbnb Horror Story was my latest filmmaking project! The idea bloomed from a real experience—a few summers ago, a friend and I stayed at a strange Airbnb in Cape Cod during a girls trip. What started as a slightly odd experience quickly spiraled in my imagination into a “what if” scenario: what if the place really was as haunted as it felt?
 
The film is a horror-comedy following two Asian American best friends, Tina and Bindy, who check into an Airbnb only to discover that what first appears to be a cultural homage in the décor is far more unsettling than it seems. It's Get Out meets Bodies Bodies Bodies!
 
We had an absolute blast bringing this story to life, and I feel so lucky to have collaborated with such brilliant, talented people. I can’t wait to create with them again beyond NYU Tisch!
