House Of Magic: Playwrights Horizons Downtown

House of Magic was my scenic design debut! 
The immersive show's story follows Emery as she enters a mysterious nightclub called The House of Magic, a night of dancing and drugs spirals into a hallucinatory descent through trauma, myth, and self-forgiveness. Haunted by a shadowy figure from their past, Emery is guided by the goddesses Hecate, Kali, and The Morrigan through realms of memory and dream where survival means facing the darkness within. Blurring the boundaries between rave and ritual, House of Magic is a visceral exploration of assault, recovery, and reclaiming power through mythic rebirth.
